Ultrasonic Quilted Waterproof Mattress Protector – King Size Fitted, Joint-Free

The Khaash Ultrasonic Quilted Waterproof Mattress Protector guards your mattress against spills, sweat, stains and dust, without the crackle or plastic feel of cheap waterproof sheets. It is built in three layers: a soft cotton face, a cosy polyester filling that adds a little padding, and a PU laminated membrane underneath that keeps liquid out.

Key features

• Joint-free ultrasonic quilting – the quilting is fused rather than stitched, so there are no needle holes for liquid to seep through.
• 100% waterproof backing – a PU membrane blocks spills, accidents and sweat before they reach the mattress.
• Noiseless and breathable – you feel quilted fabric, not plastic, so it does not rustle when you turn over.
• Deep fitted pocket – 9 to 10 inch elastic sides grip the mattress and stay put through the night.
• Machine washable – built for everyday use in a family home.
• 7 plain colours – black, white, blue, brown, dark green, grey and maroon.

Size

• Standard king size, fitted style
• Side pocket depth: 9–10 inches
• Protector only; pillows and bedsheet not included

Measure your mattress depth before ordering. If it is deeper than 10 inches, the protector will not sit flat. Our size guide explains how to measure properly.

Plain or printed?

This one is plain, so it sits under your bedsheet and does its job invisibly. If you would rather the protector doubled as a printed fitted bedsheet, see the printed quilted protector with 2 pillow covers. For a thinner, towel-backed option there is the waterproof terry protector. All three are in mattress covers.

Who needs one

• Families with young children – the single most common reason people buy one, and it saves a mattress that costs many times more.
• Homes with elderly family members – protection without a hospital-style plastic sheet.
• Anyone with a new mattress – fit it from day one rather than after the first accident.
• Guest rooms – see our guest room checklist.

Our guide explains why every home needs a waterproof mattress protector, and in winter the padded layer also stops cold rising off the mattress — more on that in keeping a bedroom warm without a heater.

Care instructions

• Machine wash cold or lukewarm on a gentle cycle.
• Do not bleach, and avoid very hot water or high dryer heat, which damages the waterproof layer.
• Dry in shade and make sure it is completely dry before putting it back on the bed.
• Do not iron the underside.

Colours may vary slightly from the photos due to lighting and screen settings.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really waterproof?
Yes. The underside has a PU laminated membrane, and because the quilting is ultrasonic rather than stitched there are no needle holes for liquid to pass through.

Does it feel like plastic or make noise?
No. The waterproof layer is underneath, so what you feel and hear is quilted fabric.

Will it fit my mattress?
It is king size with a 9 to 10 inch fitted pocket, which suits most standard king mattresses. Measure the depth of yours if you are unsure.

Do I still need a bedsheet on top?
Yes. This one is plain and designed to sit under your bedsheet. If you want a protector that works as a printed sheet, choose the printed version.

Can I wash it in a machine?
Yes, on a cold gentle cycle. Keep it away from high heat so the waterproof backing lasts.
