Why parachute fabric

Parachute fabric is a light, tightly woven synthetic that water runs straight off. It is the material used for the outdoor covers on almost every AC cover set sold in Pakistan, because it stands up to rain, dust and sun without soaking through or going mouldy. In this set you get it on both units, which makes the whole set fully waterproof and very easy to wipe down.

Parachute or quilted — which should you buy?

If the indoor unit is somewhere exposed — a balcony, a veranda, a room with an open window through monsoon — this set is the practical choice. If you would rather the cover on your bedroom wall looked like a furnishing, see the quilted AC cover set. Both protect the unit equally well.

Choose your size

• 1 Ton – for small split AC indoor and outdoor units.
• 1.5 Ton – the most common size in Pakistani homes.
• 2 Ton – for larger split AC units.

When to put them on

Fit the covers once the AC is switched off for the season, usually from late October. Never cover an outdoor unit while the AC is running — it needs to release heat, and covering it raises your bill and shortens the compressor's life. Care instructions

• Wipe with a damp cloth, or hand wash in cold water.
• Do not bleach. Do not iron. Dry in shade.
• Always switch the AC off before putting the covers on.

Frequently asked questions

Can I run the AC with the cover on?
No. Remove both covers before switching the AC on, so air can flow freely through the indoor and outdoor units.

Is the indoor cover waterproof too?
Yes. In this set both covers are the same waterproof parachute fabric, which is the difference from the quilted set.

Will it fit my inverter AC?
Yes. The covers fit standard inverter and non-inverter split ACs in the tonnage you select.

What colour will I receive?
Plain silver-grey, as shown in the photographs.

How do I pay?
